It's the 25th anniversary year of this great local event. Over 80
artists, musicians, and local authors doing readings! Beer garden!
Food trucks! This event is always a wonderful celebration of
Medford's lively neighborhood arts and culture, and a great day out.
Eat a homemade ice cream sandwich from Frozen Hoagies, get a
Goldilox Bagel with all the trimmings, have a beer from Medford Brewing
Company, and listen to live music next to the Mystic River. I'll
be there all day and hope to see you!

One of the oldest and largest farmers' markets in
Massachusetts, the Roslindale Market hosts fun community events like
free outdoor yoga, children's activities, live music, and of course
lots of wonderful fresh produce and arts vendors!

Come to America's oldest public beach to see lots of artists, hear live
music, and watch a live art contest for painters. Watch them work
from noon to 3:00 in a competition benefiting scholarships for local art
students.

I'll be on the shady front lawn of the museum with a great assortment
of other artists. This fabulous event generally also boasts live
classical music and the chance to meet some local authors! Free
parking during the event in the town lot behind the museum, and we're
just across the street from Kickstand Coffee on the bike trail.
Take a tour of the museum while you're here, and be sure to
check out the Arlington Town Day event going on concurrently, a block
further down Mass Ave.

Over 80 artists will be participating in this fantastic event spread at locations around the neighborhood. I'll be at Roslindale House with an assortment of other painters, jewelers, and photographers. Live music, craft demonstrations, and events for kids! On Saturday, Open Studios begins while the Farmers' Market is running (9:00 - 1:30 at Adams Park), so you can grab a pastry or pick up some apples on your way to see some art. Bring your reusable tote and I'll see you there!
